Taking Over...

Hi everyone. This is Payton. I'm going to take over this blog from my mommy cuz she's not very good at updating it. And I know everyone wants to see what I've been up to the past few months. So here it is in a nutshell...
We have had lots of visitors. Autie Jill came and she was here over Auntie Clare's Bday. We had a wonderful dinner at the Ritz and she helped calm me down when I was upset. Mommy and Daddy call her the baby whisperer.

Next came Auntie Heidi and her fiance (he just proposed last weekend!), Jon. We had lots of fun. We tried to go to Texas Roadhouse one night, but I really didn't want to be there, so everyone boxed up their food and we ate it at home. I'm much happier when I get to hang out at home :)

The most recent visitor we had was my Great Uncle Bobby. We had a great time while he was here. We relaxed lots, went to a nice dinner, and spent one afternoon at a festival in the park.

I had fun with all of my visitors. After everyone left my mommy had to go back to work. This was her 3rd week back and I sure miss her everyday. But Daddy watches me 2 days a week, and for the other 3 I go to a very nice lady's house. Her name is Miss Tracy. I really like her.

Under the Sea with Payton

Payton has learned a new trick and she wanted to share it with all of you:) She also has learned to say good-bye in her own, special way:) Enjoy!

sleepy baby

Payton sure likes her beauty rest...but she's so cute when she's sleeping! Especially when she smiles. So adorable!

Payton heads to the doctor

Payton's first trip to the doctor's office was a rough one. Mark was doing whatever he could to keep her distracted, including creating multiple versions of "Jesus Loves Me."

Payton's First Bath

Payton wasn't very fond of her first bath. On July 25th, she was 4 days old and her dad turned 30!

Coming Home

The day Payton came home Grandma put up balloons to announce her arrival. She loves her car seat and slept the whole way home.

Mark's a Daddy!

While I was recovering Mark was the one who got to help the nurses give Payton her first bath, change her first diaper, and get her dressed in her first outfit. He did such a great job! She's already got him wrapped around her little finger! Here are some pics of daddy in action.
